Has anyone been able to use the "FixIt" feature that they demo'd? When I make a mistake and it gets red-underlined, I can right click on it and choose "Show Fix It�" but nothing happens...

I knew someone would suggest that... LOL! In user accounts under my name the only thing I see is ituneshelper and some speech thing. But, would ituneshelper prevent my IMac from sleeping, I wonder?

Samsung gives 3 years even for OEM.I have never used a Samsung drive, nor do I know anybody who has. Do they actually make their own? Or do they get drives relabeled from another company?

Plug the external drive into your MacBook Pro, and open a finder window. The WD drive should show up in the left part of the finder window, under devices.
Right-click on the drive, and click on "Get Info".
In the Info window, part way down you'll see the format. For example:
Format: MS-DOS (FAT32)
or
Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
or
something else for NTFS...
Remember, you can't reformat a drive (or a partition) without losing the files currently on that drive (partition). So, you MUST copy the files somewhere else, first.
I have checked and it is NTFS format. There is too much memory to copy onto my mac before reformatting. So then where else can i copy them too? For safety I can copy to another external hard drive which is NTFS, but will i then be able to move the data on to the newly formatted drive? Or just the stuff from my mac? Other than the obvious source (iTunes), is there anywhere else to download high quality music videos for less money/free? Since I can no longer find $200 iTunes gift cards on eBay for $70, I'm looking for alternative methods. Thanks.

assuming the express is of the newer "N" kind, it needs to be configured to extend the network created by the TC.
also make sure the TC is set to allow this network to be extended.

Just arrived and by best guess there are around 75 people so far. I am sure there is plenty and waiting here is pretty silly but nothing else goin on today so what the hell. Least I have a good chance of getting something I want rather than having to up or downgrade my choice. T-minus 4 hours.

The iMac is getting ready to be refreshed. Should be sandy bridge processors. The mini will follow, since it uses the same parts, not long after the iMac. Your decision will depend on what your going to use it for.

How about 1080p movies in full screen mode? Does it look bad? Do you guys prefer watching it through a window at 1080p?
1080p, or even 720p should be fine. Moving picture is different because you don't concentrate in small details but try to read text in Safari at 1920x1080 and it will look pixel-ish, something that you don't want.

My insurance guy told me the single most common reason claims like these get denied is not having commercial coverage for commerce related claims.
IOW, if your gear gets stolen doing a wedding shoot and you have stock homeowners' coverage, don't count on them cutting you a check.

30% power savings sounds good to me. My regular AT&T cell phone is a battery hog and it is almost unreadable when the backlight is off. Having the LED display itself be the light sounds sweet. Imagine how much longer the iPhone battery life would have been with that kind of display, especially given the resolution differences are almost trivial at that size. I'm not sure Apple made the best choice here.

Some other process is getting in the way. In a previous thread http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=11731359&postcount=26 some Western Digital software was responsible.

Everytime I upgrade to a new version of LR I try Aperture, I tend to find it struggles badly on my Mac Mini - Lightroom doesn't set the world on fire in terms of performance - but it works.
For me LR is a more polished application, I have no issues with the interface (used it from Beta version) or the need to switch from Library to Develop modules.
